Like anything, interlock requires maintenance after years of weathering and being exposed to the elements of our environment. To start a relaying process we pressure wash existing stone in place to clean from weathering. Next we remove all the stones, ensuring all edges are cleaned of debris and old sand is required. Once removed, adding bedding sand or stones dust to adjust any imperfections in the grade will be required. Pressure washing the tops of the stones before this process is an added step that could cause a much better final look depending on the state of your existing interlock. Installing polymeric sand to finish will make you old interlock look new and beautiful again.
